Self Defined Project

For my self defined project I am illustrating Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Black Cat' partly because I couldn't think of anything really really exciting to do and partly because his stories are crazy and I like them.
I did have a few lovely sketches to post but various pieces of technology are having a fit today and wont do what I tell them to, this is the only image I could get to upload.
I'm trying to practice drawing more realistically again, and although I never really have the patience for it, the end results are usually quite satisfying.
Hopefully more sketches will come when technology decides to co-operate.
